"Roseanne"       This 37-year-old, New York woman had a second-trimester saline abortion in New York City. Two days later, she began to have convulsions and multiple episodes of vomiting. Unfortunately, some of the vomit went into her lungs, and she died on February 27, 1971 from pneumonia and brain damage from lack of oxygen. She was the mother of four children.
