"Karen"       This 26-year-old, divorced, white woman from Baltimore had a 22nd week saline abortion in 1970. Four days later, she had a tubal ligation. She was found dead at her home 6 weeks later. An autopsy showed that she had died of pneumonia. She was survived by 2 children.
